& now im officially the only baby left in the family

Sisters convocation yesterday.. the end of the start.. or the start of the end? haha

Didnt actually get to see her go up the stage and listen to random pple talk cos Singaporeans are mighty Kiasu pple who grab any seat tickets available.. not that i mind actually.. was pretty happy sitting at the biological sciences block watching saved by the bell on my laptop waiting for the ceremony to be over so i could have my turn taking fotos with the girl of the day or rather woman of the day.. bah id never be able to call my sis a woman.. after all the nonsense i endure from her.. haha.. a funny girl she'll always stay in my heart.. :P ooh another landmark in our family history is tt it was the day all the girls in the family were wearing heels apart from hari raya.. haha even then my sis n i will be scolded for wearing slippers to our grandpas place..

well.. apparently different courses have different coloured gowns.. and i wanted the pretty pink one i saw but its only for mass comm.. darn if i were any more bimbo, i would have checked out gown colours before choosing my course haha.. anyhow.. after experiencing all tt, it was pretty fun.. helping me sis picture-whore and everything.. a time where photo pple and framing certs pple and grad bear pple make a whole lotta money but still, i wanna be like tt too in 3 yrs time.. to me, it may feel like a given like DUH i will graduate..i mean wth am i doing here anyway.. but i really hope i know what im doing by the end of this..& i hope it IS in 3 years time considering how bidding is totally screwing up my life and i hope it says TWO degrees on my cert because having just one makes the cert look less filled with words ie less impressive.. i DO wanna work hard and prove to pple im no dumbass.. i just have to find what im looking for..

Havent really elaborated about life the past 3 weeks.. its been a whirl! a really fun whirl, swept away among friends.. which is exactly what life should be! Living out of a suitcase, the same grubby clothes for 3 weeks.. I feel like doing a Rory and hugging all my clothes yelling 'I miss you guys!' hehe im 15 episodes into Season 2 and Im hit with gilmoritis.. ie speaking really fast & alot in one whole breath!

anyway, i think i havent fully paid back my sleep debt.. in the past 3 days tt I've gotten solely to myself, I've been falling into a deep sleep at abt 4pm and cannot be woken up till like 730pm. Completely falling asleep in town today, picking out my sisters dress for her graduation ball. Not that it was boring.. but my brain was appealing for more oxygen ie. yawning.

lets pick out the highlights of whats gone by.. rode the DHL balloon! it was terrific!! I was actually amused that our roads had such clean colourful vehicles and there was no smog covering them from where i was. oh and on the night that i came home from vietnam, i felt like my house was so dark.. I couldnt even see how to drive there because of the darkness. Seems like Vietnam must have been really brightly lit in comparison to home. Speaking of driving.. NO MORE P PLATE FOR ME!!!!!!!! as of saturday actually.. but i havent had the opportunity to drive yet.. LIBERATION! haha i think ive forgotten how to park though..

thursday is me sisters convocation :)

I've only been home for 30hours in the span of the past 18days!! but its been a blast :)
but its been tiring as well so i think im really gonna enjoy the remaining ass-spreading moments of my holiday..whipee! not to mention the 5 seasons of Gilmore Girls i get to devourr... wooohooo! Emily! pls pass me season 6! so i can be a very happy camper indeed..

& all of us up on the DHL balloon! it was faaaabulouss!! All of sports camp was :) No regrets being pulled in the last minute! not to mention everything was freeeeee :P

& finally when camp ended at 430.. zonked out for abt 1.5hrs before meeting 3D for dinner and somes Bens &s Jerrys!.. heres the 80 dollar tub that the 14 of us devouredd.. YUm!

how can the world deprive us of spain & argentina!?!?! i swear if we had a friendly between both teams right now, it will outsell any combi of teams in the WC finals!

im seriously not a fan of tactisc or strategy.. to deprive beautiful free-flowing football to be played.. to allow teams like greece to win a euro cup.. yowza.. who said the wc was great.. phooey

hopefully my prata party tomorrow is more fun :) if ure a north-ie, gimme a call then can come down for some localized fun ie prata + soccer :)hmm think ill have some sinful stuff like sup kambing and iced milo dinosaur weee!

was tv surfing and found a really good prog called fc barcelona confidential. only managed to watch like 30mins of it but it was gooood! how barca came from the depths of debts to become the league champs 2 yrs in a row.. showed their management strategy which is different from traditional autocratic clubs.. it really gained alot of respect.. and im impressed by the presidents' joan laporta's way of conducting himself.. very calm and collected.. reminded me of a mafia boss who wudnt mind chopping off yr head in the next second haha.. the part where an employee said.. wow! we won agst real madrid.. i cant imagine what we'll do if we win the league.. laporta replied: we will have a slideshow and the title will read - the first of many.... !!! but yea.. i can completely see the passion that runs through and i can see why sarah and santi are such maniacs! hahaha.. it feels like a family.. and the pride of catalunya.. wow.. they even video-ed how they were editing and negotiating ronaldinho's contract while ronnie was kicking a ball, killing time beside them haha.. and the fact tt their club president is probably more highly regarded than their own ministers thats crazy man! n they get death threats.. gosh..

thing is, even though these men were the stuffy pple in suits, just working the numbers and contracts.. i envied them! i WANT to be them.. even tho ronnie may not know who i am but hell.. theres the motivation, to work hard for the team you love. ok ull get crap if ure team gets relegated.. but sticking out with the team through thick n thin... its sth enviable.. i think if arsenal doesnt even get champs league footy, my love for them will die a little.. hehe.. haha abt this pt of time the fallacy of division crept into my mind.. what makes you love the team? the style of play? the players? the manager? if one by one they change.. they no longer were the team u love.. so does tt mean u stop supporting them or will you always support them because they bear that crest..

and then there was tt meeting i attended.. where we were asked.. what do we want out of this scholarship. and pple answered everything i thought would be a bore for me.. even though im probably on the track to the financial world anyhow.. the tricky part is always to combine reality with yr passion.. whats my passion? as big a couch potato as i am.. its sports.. the anxiety.. the stress levels.. the excitement.. the love of the game.... but hell.. i cant go work as a financial consultant to like geylang united! i have a few yrs to figure this out.. wish me luck!
