Mala gente Vas a pagarla caro
Mala gente Porque tu eres una mentirosa y una
Mala gente ¡Y en el infierno enterita enterita te vas a quemar!

trust is too tricky to trifle with.

is suffering from the black swan effect.
shoulda coulda have known better.
hindsight is such an oxymoron.
I'd totally kick my behind had I not been so blind.

On me dit que le destin se moque bien de nous
Qu'il ne nous donne rien et qu'il nous promet tout
Parais qu'le bonheur est à portée de main,
Alors on tend la main et on se retrouve fou

I’m told that fate makes fun of us,
That it gives us nothing and promises everything,
When happiness seems to be within our reach,
We reach out and find ourselves like fools.

I'm counting the street lights

It's all I can do

While driving myself crazy trying to get to you

Feels wrong at the right time

To reveal my hand

It's like I'm doing the worst I can

To make you understand

Maybe one day you will know

How hard it is for me to show my heart

And all the love

Running through my soul

Maybe one day you will know

I'm hoping you just might

Take a moment to realize

That everything you're looking for

Is hidden in plain sight

I know you better than I know myself

How I feel is the only thing I could never ever tell ya

Maybe one day you will know

How hard it is for me to show my heart

And all the love

Running through my soul

Maybe one day you will know

Gotta find a way
Yeah, I can't wait another day
And nothin' gonna change
If we stay around here
Gotta do what it takes
Cause all in our hands,
We all make mistakes, yeah
But it's never too late to start again
Take another breath
And say another prayer

Then fly away from here
Anywhere
Yeah, I don't care
We'll just fly away from here
Our hopes and dreams are out there somewhere
Won't let time pass us by
We'll just fly

If this life
Gets any harder now
It ain't no nevermind
You got me by your side
And anytime you want
Yeah, we can catch a train and find a better place
Yeah, cause we won't let nothin' or no one keep gettin' us down
Maybe you and I
Could pack our bags and hit the sky

Then fly away from here
Anywhere
Yeah, I don't care
We'll just fly away from here
Our hopes and dreams are out there somewhere
Won't let time pass us by
We'll just fly

Do you see a bluer sky now
You can have a better life now
Open your eyes
Cause no one here can ever stop us
They can try but we won't let them
No way

Maybe you and I
Could pack our bags and say goodbye

Then fly away from here
Anywhere
Honey, I don't care
We'll just fly away from here
Our hope and dreams are out there somewhere
Fly away from here
Yeah, anywhere
Honey, I don't, I don't, I don't care

We'll just fly away

Wished I could pull this DvF outfit off as hot as Shu Pei Qin

3. Alexander McQueen's legacy continues with Alla Kostromicheva - the Kimono dress is awesome. Love how the shoes complement the outfits
2. Jac is always a stunner in Armani Prive, Nina Ricci & Christian Dior

1. Absolutely adore Burberry Prorsum for their trenches

Its horrible being a generation of instant-everything. Instant gratification. Instant approval. Instant answers.

Or rather it sucks that everything in life cannot be instantaneous. I need to plan my life. How am I supposed to go about doing it if I cannot get instantaneous answers! really really hates waiting and worrying over uncertainties.

wow. I didnt document the historic moment when Spain became World Cup Winners! Must have been too busy catching up on sleep and giving kitty antibiotics. In any case, I shall remember the morning in which I watched the game from 230am and screamed at the tv all the way till 530am. I conclude that they did not do the prize presentation well cos there are no decent pictures of them unlike that of the Europcup. So the drawing below perfectly captures the spirit of the moment :) note: no idea what the Jap characters read

what makes a trip memorable is definitely not just the location. its the people. the stories. and its amazing the difference it makes when you're able to speak the local language. being able to spend a day talking, laughing and relaxing with complete strangers in a place hardly anyone has heard of is extra special to me and made it very hard for me to part when the time came to say goodbye.

9|_|8@kZ@|™ says:
who is inconsiderate bastard?
ilililili says:
stupid guy who sat beside me in the bus
9|_|8@kZ@|™ says:
hahaha
ilililili says:
he was positively deaf. he used his phone like a walkie talkie
and he still said 'ha?' as if he cudnt hear the other party when the WHOLE BUS cud hear the person on the phone
n he sit all senget
9|_|8@kZ@|™ says:
HSHAHHA
SENGET
ilililili says:
so he kept digging into my seat and he even caused someone to trip when she walkedpast him
i just shoved my bag against him
n gave him a glare which he finally figured i was pissed
its those 4 seats in front which face each other so when the pple in front of us got off, i changed seats
n u know what the stupid guy did!? he took over my seat... and put his magazine on the empty seat n started reading
then when he called someone, he got all comfortable by sitting cross legged on the seat with his magazine still occupying the other one
i wanted to take a picture n send to stomp but my hp camera makes it quite obvious when i take fotos

my blood has not boiled this furiously for a while. My face was all red, pissed from a bloody mofo! seriously, THIS is precisely why a certain race gets such bad stereotypes and is being looked down upon. the attitude of these people can be so awful and inconsiderate! we find them having the same inconsiderate nature going on when they try boarding flights with a gabizillion handcarry luggage back home. I can't believe such inconsiderate nature is part of people's culture! Why must common sense be taught!? In contrast, a poor boy sitting on the other side was so kind to put his bag and hugeass tuba on him even though the seat next to him was empty. Kudos to him! SHAME ON THE IDIOT AND he's not doing anything to dispel the bad perception towards his own race.

Why do the French always have a certain je ne sais quoi to everything they say or do?

I borrowed a book from the library aptly titled "a certain je ne sais quoi" describing words we've pinched from other languages and identifying their roots. Most of them were derived from French or Latin. Honestly, the latin made me feel like I was reading my biblio, a law text or reciting a chant.
Case in point: a priori, sic, reductio ad absurdum, modus operandi, ad nauseaum, spiritus mundi, habeas corpus, magnum opus

But the french just made everything sound so highclass
eg. joie de vivre, enfant terrible, raison d'etre, nouveau riche, faux pas, ennui, du jour, c'est la vie, blase

I really liked the description given for Curriculum Vitae though - The course of life (Latin)
This is a summary of everything we have achieved educationally and profesionally in our lives up to the present day. Though the full translation sounds rather poetic, most CVs reduce the course of life to its barest shell, leaving room only for word processin qualifications and spurious 'hobbies' such as relaxing and socializing with friends.

And also just learnt the meaning of Wanderlust! - desire to travel (German) man that is my constant state of being.

Schadenfreude, Cogito, ergo sum & carpe diem quam minimum credula postero ( Seize the day, trusting tomorrow as little as possible) sounds so very posh too :)

omg! 3 years ago, we had a group project for Tech & World Change class which required us to come up with a product that incorporated new and upcoming technology. I always thought it would be super cool if treadmills had a full 3D effect where it gave you the feeling that you were running outside. We toyed with the idea and based it on the technology of autostereoscopy.
FYI: Autostereoscopy is a method of displaying three-dimensional images that can be viewed without the use of special headgear or glasses on the part of the user. These methods produce depth perception in the viewer even though the image is produced by a flat device. For more info - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autostereoscopy

I thought the technology was so cool and wanted to experience it if I ever got the chance to. I even used my Sin rules and drew physics diagrams in our report! I was so proud of the report and idea but it was obviously not too viable because the cost was WAYYYY too expensive using current technology and way too bulky. well if it was viable, someone else would have already thought of it right!?

But anyway, the point is I actually read:-
Show Lo talks about his newest Tour, which will launch on May 15, 2010 at Taipei Arena. This time around, they're using Autostereoscopic 3-D technology, to give fans the utmost thrill for a concert experience.

OMG! I want to be at the concert to actually experience the effect! hahha geek. everyone else is there to watch the guy and I'm there for the 3D effects. not to say I don't enjoy the artiste either :) hahaha, I just won't be able to understand like 90% of what he says haha. I can't imagine how expensive the show must cost for them to be able to project the show using autostereoscopy. But well, apparently 60% of the tickets have already been sold out on the first day of sales. madness! but wow, i actually learnt sth cool in SMU hahaha

here comes the tirade.

honestly WHAT THE HELL!?
Shit slack loose passing. blunders that gifted goals to an undeserved Porto side.
where is the precision!? where is the hunger!? what the hell am i supporting!?
its not even just this game. The precision and efficiency of the players are so poor these days, its just not the same team that people talk about the beautiful game. Utter nonsense!! This is the 4th game a in row that I've watched that I've wanted to throw a pillow into the telly cos the passing was atrocious. Even if there werent the top 11 playing, those who played were season enough to know what Arsenal's game is about and have the experience and confidence to tide them through.

Pple say loyalty is about sticking through with a team despite its low moments. DUDE how do you stick to a team that loses the characteristics and quality that made you love the team to begin with? I expected sooooo much more. What a disgrace!

Monday, February 08, 2010

It is too damn painful to watch your team lose over and over again. How do fans keep supporting lower tier-ed teams?

Sunday, February 07, 2010

There still exists good people in the world... as proven from my sheer stupidity over the wkd.

in any case. 3 consecutive weeks of failed suntanning/outdoorsy attempts.
None of which attributable to the lack of sun. sad.

omg 2 yrs ago, at this very moment, I was in Valencia for the very first day.
how did i remember? cos my googlereader said that its some saint's day and I remembered that it was a public holiday when we first arrived and it was a freaking ghost town not to mention the bloody buses started at 7 instead of 6, leaving us in the cooooold

anyhoo, 2 yrs on now. will i ever have the same opportunity again to travel for 6 mths? unlikeeelyy
but nvm, the times ahead are scary exciting. why isnt there a word to describe both adjectives at one go. eggsciting? scareciting? maybe its synonymous with uncertainty.
