oooo CURSE the (in)efficiencies of the spaniards.
mac has done god knows how many things in preparation for his exchange, and my uni has yet to even respond.. phooey. I doooo love my spain.. but of cos in all anticipation, im even more anxious to go.. to prepare and just start my funnn! it sucks though that everyone is in a small town and the valencian airport only links to the busier airports like london and paris.. How am I supposed to travel to all the the remaining quirky places in europe? like holland and austria? Any other suggestions of the mustgos and travel tips!?

Speaking of travel, met up with fang, dee n hon at holland v trying fake churros and as usual 4 pple sharing damn little food cos we didnt feel like ordering anything haha.. cant wait till i finally become part of tt group of pple who meet up with other pple in europe lol..

filming.. in another language.
so on sunday saw suria filming for rarabazar.. today saw hey gorgeous instead haha.. for my darling friends who have no idea what it is, its where fiona xie and company (pardon tt i have no idea who the other hosts are besides michelle chia) invade different schools each week to find the cutest guys/girls in skl. subjected to voting of their looks and personality. the most interesting part of the day was when we all realised that the general dressing of girls today saw a big jump from denim skirts and jeans to dresses... lots n lots of dresses.. lots skimpy too. heck saw a girl today who wore satin polka dot short shorts.. she looked like she forgot to change out of her pjays. saw a couple of towel-tubedresses too... too bad the contestants didnt really showcase the besttt of the skl.. we all bet that if jianfeng had gone up, he wud have won hands down. anyway, the smu episode is supposedly airing in 2 weeks time on monday.. :) shd be fun.. even tho theres no subtitles so ill have to makedo with my pathetic level of mandarin ahha.. translator anybody?

So... was supposed to spend the day catching up on macro readings. but instead when traipsing ard the eastern part of Sg ahaha.. Shopping at Ikea is exciting because u never know what ull end up with at the end of the loooong walk through everything! This time ended up with a bathroom scale haha, a new bright blue towel, foto frames for the 2 papyrus I bought from Egypt and other stuff parents dumped in the trolley lol. n omg they even sell kuih raya at ikea. parents actually bought 2 types! just for kicks.. haha

so after we loaded up the car and i promptly fell asleep on the 2 new pillows, we headed to geylang to buy dinner. OMG there was a whole stretch of road dedicated to Ramly burgers and kebabs.. and dyed-haired mats manning the ramly burger stalls haha. the heat and meat got to me esp since i was all cranky from just waking up phooey.. n there was hardly anything itneresting to eat boo.. and takopachi queue was loooong.. so i didnt get my customary octupus balls! but.. met shah in the midst of it all.. he attempted to sell me random baju kurungs.. n when i came back later.. saw a whole tv crew ard him.. which i THEN remembered he was so enthusiastic abt RA RA BAZAAR. lol. i guess we can keep an eye out for him on SURIA later this mth..

Back in my freshie days, someone mentioned that when girls hit y3 and haven't gotten attached, they start being very nice to their male counterparts. I smiled and laughed along hoping I wouldn't have to witness this myself. but OH SHUCKS.. it seems my pattern never ends.. haha i do realise though.. its when im absolutely comfortable with who i am and very happy with what i have, that these things start creeping in n playing ard with my insecurities. Even though it might seem easier to laugh it off with each time, maybe its just the numbing effect taking place instead. But yknow what? I am happy with where I am right now.. I have fabulous friends and family.. I'm gonna have a kickass term in valencia coming up.. so why?

When the offer came in, I didn't know whether to be happy or sad.. Sad cos I didn't get my first 2 choices in Barcelona but happy cos its the one with the longest period yet a cheaper cost of living. Muddled around for a week.. Did some research.. and gosh.. I never knew the Valencia emblem had a freaking BAT on it! freakky..

But now knowing that the slots are all filled up and theres bound to be at least 1 person I know who is going.. My spirits are up again. Esp after looking at pictures of people on exchange! PLUS.. since its a relatively smaller town, I'm just thinking what my chances are of bumping into these 2 fellas. :) OOh can we fastforward this term already!! Choices choices choices.. Should I sacrifice my Dec holiday to intern at Tangs? After all, if i really am on my way to valencia, I'll have the whole of January to bum around.. But would I miss out if my softies had a camp? ayeee.. I guess y3 is when theres lotsa things to do.. but its scarily coming to tt foreboding thing called WORK.. ew

newly formed thomson kakis supper.. but minus ching now tt she is somewhere along her way to the swiss.. boohoo.. but tts part of the sniffles.. the other is the ever runny nose of my.. i hate getting seeckk. GAH... altho it does give me valid reasons not to study :) i just cant do this thing called mugging anymore..

Team dinner turned out to be a camp in disguise.
Imagine meeting more or less the same people for 3 days straight for a large portion of those 3 days. This even excludes last weekend madness.
Friday 330-10pm: Training + Team dinner at Swensons. Best turnout ever! in the end our 80 dollars voucher only covered our gst haha.
Saturday 745am-430pm : Cancelled game turned team breakfast turned mahjong/PS session at liangjuns house before grabbing some team lunch before our 1245 match. Add on Team Tea at rochor tauhuay and guys LAN session before going home to concuss/mug BEFORE
sundays matches.. 1 more day left to our camp it seems. It certainly has been sometime since we were decked in the same outfits running ard together by public transport. Oh what scarce happy days that remain.. I shall treasure theee..

i would post a high-induced happy post but im a bit dead to...
Part one of my grand weekend is over. down to part 2 in Hougang Mall then part 3 at Kallang again and the Finale at the airport. Now I remember why we love this game. Beautiful hits, great plays and all the jokes, cheers and encouragement along the way. Lets stay tight.. this could be the beginning of sth really beautiful.
