i guess im looking forward to just having some good fun, as unconventional as a 21st bday as it might be.. captains ball will always be fun to me.. with super rara friends around. :) i know how 21st bday presents can really burn a whole in pple's pockets and in jon chens words 'hold a party. to recoup losses' haha but yea i do enjoy the small customized touches.. :) so no worries.. come and if you have fun, ILL have fun.>!

This is what happens when u get 2 cheapos who were kinda full on briyani but still wanted dessert + great service.

Had originally planned to go bakerzinn at one fullerton for dessert but turns out it isnt there anymore! oh well.. we had to make do with starbucks but it was worth it because of cos with all the well-heeled and business-y pple ard, service must be top-notch.. hehe played on this fact to get freebies along with our order. we only ordered ONE choc cake-like thingy between the 2 of us.. but it looked kinda sad alone on the plate and i thot the choc wud have melted upon heating but it didnt.. so rachel decided to ask for whipped cream and i asked for chocolate syrup hehe n they kindly decorated the plate n cream with choc yummm.. ray still unabashedly asked for 2 cups of iced water.. hehehe.. all for a lowlow price of 550! (for 2)

shucks.. too bad its ray's last week.. im gonna miss having spillyrguts sessions and loooooong lunches with her.. hehe.. but yknow how pple normally loveee tt their bosses are away.. i want mine backkk. or at least let me come along to kL!

omgosh! did my research on spain exchange.. LIKE FINALLYYYY this may hopefully finally materialise.. n it seems my best option is valencia.. its the cheapest n the uni seems to be the most accmodating.. even tho its like somewhere southern of spain n not THE most happening place.. heck ill just take 2 weeks off travelling at a shot! haha.. omgomgomg i want this so bad!! pray for me!

And this marks the proper end of BSM. I've never been this occupied for long stretches of my life before. and its still not over.. after this, 9 more weeks of according to mac, being lower than scum.. then 15 weeks of school... THEN a month of holidays.. woots! before hopefully flying off to god knows what country i shall exchange in.. how exciting! if i can get past these 24 weeks first.. oh dear.. 24 weeks!?

but today was relatively fun. met up with mediacorp/suria with regard to advertising opportunities.. it was hilarious cos my sup hardly watches tv and still tinks basir is the head.

Little did I know that my deadline for 2 BSM reports are on FRIDAY!!! ie.. IM DEAD!! im currently staring at report v1 and empty learning journal, and what am i doing? I am blogging.. well, gotta start the creative writing juices flowing somehow right?

Anyway, I survived my first day of work! Well if you could call it work... I just sat around and read all the fact sheets and services they provided trying to store all the instrument names and its uses. i really wanted to sleep at certain points but considering the department is SO tiny.. itll be really obvious and such a bad thing to start off the job with. but at least my small boss has got nice dimples.. :) The job scope suddenly became super daunting but hopefully I can really contribute! unlike the paper that I read written by the MBA students.. bleh.. i could have written a better paper and there were 6 pple working on it.. sheesh. not to mention the billion grammatical errors.. no one proofread it obviously.

Think the best thing I've realised from my 3 weeks abroad is the sense of independence.. like wow finally I get to take care of myself for real.. felt real good. Like I found my confidence again and it took me on such a high that I stopped worrying about the small things.. the people were super nice & everything was smooth sailing & I get to pass through Fullerton underpass every morning :D all i need is a 3 week holiday everytime i feel down :) The travel bug has struck! I WANT TO GO BACK TO DUBAIIIIII!

Even though the cost of living is so expensive. even though many think its a bubble.. theres just sth about it that I love. They are trying to build utopia.. and getting as humanly close to it as possible.. i love being surrounded by so mny diff nationalities with not really a single one dominating.. and there is a certain amount of dignity and conservatism that can still go hand in hand with progress which i respect. People like Mr Sultan. theres just an aire about him that just sweeps me off my feet :) *swoon* damn issit jz with the foto haha I want to go backkK!!! soonish...

Hurghada - next to the Red Sea

the clearest sea on earth!! just looking at it calms the soul. I could sit on the boat forever.. not surprising then how dark we are now after snorkelling/swimming/chilling out for 4+ days there! Minus off the fact that there are husslers everywhere, its really a nice place to be.. not to mention my favoritest papa bear, Wafeek. used to be bodyguard to one of the ministers and has taken a bullet shot before.. before retiring after his best fren was shot in the head.. scary stuff. gots loadsa stories to share but too tired noww and for pictures, hit facebook!

till i find the time n energy...!
