BLOOODY HELL. the first drogba goal was OFFSIDE.. and tt obimikel guy must have done sth real awful for toure the coolman to react tt way. where are the replays when u most need them!? where are the external commentators to review this when u most need them!? the only consolation i had from the sending off was realising tt cesc received the captain's armband from toure. well he is the most experienced player on the pitch but i was proud of him.. NOT when he was in an armlock with lampard tho!! Newpapers are going to fly off the stands tomorrow.. drama drama drama enough to fill the whole sports section for weeks to come.. AND i haven't even mentioned abt the terry concussion.. to see the physio, the arsenal physio no less sprint across the field to an unconscious terry when all the players were gesturing like crazy for help was super scary. you would think he died! thank goodness he was breathing by the end of it.. which added to the 7mins of extra time, which u thot wud be the longest in the history of the carling cup but nooo.. it reaches well above 100mins because of all the debacle. sigh. what is to become!? WHAT IS GOING ON!!!!????

haha.. just entertained my lovely nieces this morning.. i think if i ever have kids, ill be such a lazy mother.. make them play with their dad all the time.. 2 hrs playing with them and sian already haha.. but they are

sooooo smart.. Dessy's in the picture.. she's only 4 and she speaks as if she's in pri skl already.. i'm still amazed every time cos she's not even in kindergarten yet! her younger sis dheea is 1 and according to her mom is a bottomless pit.. and she gives random hugs to pple at any time of the day! sure beats getting free hugs from strangers in the streets :) gosh.. always makes me think of what to name my kids.. whether to send them to piano or ballet class.. let them be the girly girl i never was. lol

Even though the show got super crappy and us oc watchers went our separate ways, it was always sth tt made us laugh out loud together.. gasp at all drama and swoon at all the seth antics (well minus me actually, more of a summer fan) who can forget the very hot marissa cooper, the classic summer 'EW!' and most importantly the tissue skirts. that, which bonded us forever :) okok very melodramatic but I must give a fitting goodbye to californiaaaaa californiaaaaaa... it wudnt have been the same w/o u! always makes me miss all those goofy times and oc marathons at gills or my house with myuk and sya. Its always so sad when a tv series uve grown accustomed to ends. Shows how much of a tv junkie i am.. sigh.. i hope greys anatomy never ends... :)

family went to sentosa for a day of sun sand and sea... on the first day of cny.. interestingly it was seriously populated.. and even the southern most point of SEA, yknow tt tiny island off palawan beach.. it was overpopulated even haha.. but the highlight of the trip down was probably the sky ride and luge! funness!! no one told me that you play bumper cars down a hill! anyway, ought to have worn my sunglasses (one of the rare contacts-wearing times) to join the im so cool rider look haha..



also in the spirit of being lucky red, arsenal will be meeting PSV Eindhoven at 6am tomorrow morning! Go arsenal!!

Meanwhile in other arsenal news, i always find it amusing when the younglings are considered a heavyweight.. For example:

Arsenal Under-18s midfielder Fran Merida says he aims to be just like the Club’s current Spanish sensation Cesc Fabregas.
The 16-year-old arrived from Barcelona in the summer just as Fabregas did in September 2003 and Merida hopes he can emulate his compatriot’s rapid rise to fame.
The midfielder has already caught the eye with some instrumental displays for both the Under-18s and the Reserves and puts his form down to studying Fabregas’ every move.
“Cesc for me is like my mirror — he’s the player I want to be,” Merida told Arsenal.com.
“When I go to watch the first team I’m always watching him, the way he plays and the way he passes the ball. I am only 16-years-old and to watch him and learn from him is so important. I’m going to keep working hard and, of course, one day I would love to play alongside him.”

Of course, cesc has just won the barclays player of the mth! bravo!! he's such an inspiration i swear!

anyhow, its barely 2 hrs into 14th feb and im already suffering from sugar overdose. (not like im getting any chocs anyway haha) after a horrendous CAT midterm where everything i used was practically from qm class instead, indulged in my ultimate fav snickers bar and hersheys choc covered kisses.. was already on a choc max when asilahs cake pushed it to overload. cupcake is not helping sugar levels.. at this rate, I'm never gonna fit back into the dress jaynita n grasita bought haha..

random thought of the day:
saw interesting characters in the train.. one guy looking girl tried to look so cool and stylish but was listening to old school cheesy songs namely OTOWN.. just listen to the lyrics "i want it allllll or nothing at allllllll......." its so ironic.. what happened to angst & emo rock songs? :) oh yea.. n i know this will sound all judgmental but it was a little eyebrow raising tt i saw a butch/lesbian couple kiss in the middle of the train today... totally didnt see tt coming..

of all the days maybank had to call was TODAY! after like 2 mths of no news from them, after realising ill be overseas and hoping for an internship overseas, they now tell me they can offer me an internship. but yay! looks like i have options :)

oh i cannot stop drooling over tt prospect.. the highlight of the trip i suppose hhaha.. if all goes well, in 2-3mths time.. I'll be setting foot in the land of deserts & experimental architecture.. woots!!!! I really really really REALLY want this all to go wonderfully well! 2007 just kicked off to a fabulous start :) and feel really blessed right now! I hope I feel the same or even better at the end of it!

n week 6 begins.. as the scary midterm filled week threatens to appear after..

but i had a pretty nice weekend.. friday was fun playing badminton illegaly outside the skl hall, being paranoid abt the slightest sound hoping its not the security guard coming to chase us away (like at the sob lobby) n a visit from someone from my past was certainly surprising.. a nice surprise nonetheless.. :) which left me with a lot of qns... which maybe someday you'll answer them..

DRAMA DRAMA DRAMA!

who knew the first time id watch a live football match would have so much drama and singapore playing so well. singapore v thailand! was pretty fun! altho vulgarities seemed to be the only things pple spouted PLUS the word tt alvin insists is bodoh is NOT.. and is much worst than I thot it wud be. anyhow, when thailand walked off the pitch, i cudnt believe it! they looked like the ref had just blown the final whistle or sth.. good thing the sg team kept their cool and scored the penalty.. it would be super paiseh if after all tt arguing they missed. i must say, bennett's fabulous! and I've finally seen some decent sg skills.. even to the pt of saying sg plays headers better than arsenal haha.. impressed with the distribution and run up to the middle of the box to take their chances. at one pt charis cheered 'jiayou!' and i commented, erm half the team doesnt understand u :) actually more than half haha.. teehee.. in the end, we screamed, we vulgared, we cheered, we jeered, n we all had our eyecandy hahha.. indra, lionel & baihakki!

after a winning high, suppered at al jilani's for REALLY GOOD briyani! its the bomb! the best briyani ive tasted in the whole of sg! and more footie tonight!! Thank god for 12pm lessons!
